Alamo RMA and TxDOT to host two public open houses on Loop 1604 Environmental Assessment

The Alamo Regional Mobility Authority (Alamo RMA) in partnership with the Texas Department of
Transportation (TxDOT) will hold two Open Houses to present proposed improvements to Loop 1604 between Bandera Road (SH 16) and eastward to I-35. The proposed improvements are being evaluated through an Environmental Assessment (EA).

The environmental review, consultation,  and other  actions required  by applicable  Federal  environmental  laws for  this project are being, or have been, carried-out by TxDOT pursuant to 23 U.S.C. 327 and a Memorandum of Understanding dated
December 16, 2014, and executed by the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) and TxDOT.

The proposed project would improve mobility and reduce congestion by adding managed lanes within the existing Loop 1604 Right-of-Way.

The identical Open Houses will be held on March 4th and 5th, 2015, from 5:00 PM to 7:30 PM
at the following locations:

Wednesday, March 4th, 2015:        Holy Trinity Catholic Church Banquet Hall
20523 Huebner Road, San Antonio, TX 78258

Thursday, March 5th, 2015:            Northern Hills Golf Center
13202 Scarsdale Street, San Antonio, TX 78217

The public is invited to attend either Open House to view project maps and material, visit with
team members, ask questions, and share comments.  The meeting is an open house format and no formal presentation will be given.  Attendees can come at their convenience.

The Open Houses will be conducted in English with a Spanish translator present. Those with special
communication, interpretation, or accommodation needs are encouraged to contact Beatrice Marroquin by telephone at 210-335-7065 at least two (2) business days prior to the meeting. TxDOT and the Alamo RMA will make every reasonable effort to accommodate these needs.
