Welcome to FastTrack Online

Welcome to the new home of FastTrack from the Alamo Area MPO!

Starting with our February 17th edition, FastTrack will be moving from being a stand alone bi-weekly e-Newsletter to a multi-platform tool for the Alamo Area MPO.

Over the last few months, as we have expanded FastTrack and started using new systems to promote the projects of the Alamo Area MPO and our partner agencies, we realized that our bi-weekly newsletter is becoming lengthy. There are tons of meetings and events happening around the region - and we want to help you stay up to date - but we don't want you to dread getting our email every other Monday.

One of the requests we have gotten a few times is if there is anyway we can shorten the articles but still provide the same level of detail. This blog is our way to help address that concern.

In each issue of FastTrack you will still find detailed information from the MPO - but in snippet form that offers an ability to click on a link to read more on our blog page itself. We are still refining as we go, so we welcome your feedback and suggestions on how we can keep FastTrack on your must read list!

And we are expanding our email offerings to be more than just a single FastTrack newsletter

We have a Bicycle and Pedestrian focused newsletter that comes out monthly and we just launched a newsletter that comes out quarterly for our friends in the Geo-spatial Community dealing with GIS items of interest

We have started sending out the monthly meeting notices for our Transportation Policy Board via the same service as well.

We are doing all we can to help keep you informed, whatever your interest, in the ongoing development of our regional transportation network.

In the coming weeks and months, you'll see more posting and articles being generated by the staff at the MPO. Our pledge to you is to keep you as informed and engaged in the decisions which impact our regional ability to move people, goods and services. Whether its through FastTrack Online, the FastTrack e-newsletter, our Facebook page, our Twitter handle, our YouTube Channel, our website, or in person at one of our meetings around the community, please remember, we plan to keep you moving!
